Our Collection for August 24. Reasons why we chose this title: Anthony appeared at VERVE Poetry Festival in 2019 giving an astonishing reading alongside Sophie Collins and Sumita Chaakraborty as well as a wonderful workshop. Their list of incredible publications dating back to their 2003 debut No Traveller Returns is building into a breath-taking and ground-breaking body of work. A new book from Anthony is always an occasion for celebration and Polkadot Wounds is no different: as this poet's roving eye makes connections with the dead and the living, absorbing vast tracts of time and experience into inspiringly consumable chunks of poetry. Our Collection of the Month will ALWAYS be a book that we absolutely LOVE. Polkadot Wounds fits the bill perfectly!
